Web Site Promotion and Internet advertising

Would your like your web site to be found on the internet?
Do you have a product to sell?
Do you have a service to offer?
If your answer is yes then let us help get you noticed.

It is essential that you are aware of the success or otherwise of your web site. Is it achieving your objectives? Is it actually bringing any benefit to your business?
We can assist you with analysing the current performance of your web presence. By carefully interrogating your web traffic statistics, we can gain a great deal of information regarding the number of visitors your site is receiving and what areas of your site are receiving hits as well as those that aren’t.
From this analysis if necessary we can provide advice and guidance to increase the performance of your web site.
Some clients manage any optimisation program themselves perhaps with a little ongoing guidance from us. Others request us to take full control of the program including design, implementation and regular review. Whatever level of involvement you wish us to take, we can provide services to meet your needs.
The promotion of a web site can take many forms, so..

What can we do for you?

It is no longer enough to simply cram the META tags with your key word and submit your site to a million search engine indexes and directories.

What a new client will often tell us is that their web site can be found on Google and or Yahoo so why do I need your help?
What we invariably find is when we conduct our own search is that yes they can be found and will often feature quite high in the results.
But when we look closer there is quite often a problem with this.

One closer inspection we find that the search terms used the locate the client web site are uasually eather the "companies name" or a word or phrase that the client would use to find their own web site but not the kind of phrase that would be used by a prospective customer when searching the web.

Optimisation
The first is to optimise your site for relevant search engines. We can assist in this process by identifying important key words and key phrases for your business and ensuring that they are incorporated effectively and appropriately into your site.

Keyword Suggestions for Google

The Keyword Suggestion tool for Google will help you choose relevant and popular terms related to your selected key term. Simply enter a key term and this tool will query information from several Google searches, which it will use to determine popular and re-occurring terms used by websites in the same industry.

The relevancy of a key term is determined by counting the number of times a given term occurs. You may notice that on occasions a term has a higher relevance than the term you entered. This is because it appears more often in Google searches related to your term than your input term does.

WARNING: Depending on internet traffic as well as the keyword/phrase you choose, this query may take anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds to complete. Please be patient.

Optimisation is a process where the web pages are built to help them rank higher on the normal (non pay) search engine results, the results from page optimisation are not instant as they are dependent on the search engines re indexing your site a process they do at regular intervals. This process can take anything up to 6 to 8 weeks.

Directories
The second is to make sure you are registered with all the major web directories. Directories are not search engines. Although they function in the same way a site that is submitted to a directory will be approved by a real person and not as in search engines automatically logged by spider. So making sure you submit correctly is vital.

PPC
The third is using a pay per click service like "Google" or Overture" for example. Again we will help in identifying important key words and key phrases and advising on which, and how many of these are used in any campaign.
Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising uses search engines to place paid listings that are relevant to a specific search. The client only pays when the sponsored link is clicked. A persistent online bidding process determines the price and position of the listing.
